Makewell Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-11-07

These terms are the agreement between you and Keystone CRM ("we", "us"), the operator of Makewell, when you use the Makewell iPhone app and the website at makewell.rideaustudio.ca. By using Makewell you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Makewell. Our Privacy Policy at makewell.rideaustudio.ca/privacy.html explains how we handle data.

Eligibility

You must be at least 12 years old to use Makewell. If the law where you live sets a higher age for using online services like this, you must meet that age. If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you.

Accounts

You can start with an anonymous account, and you can add an email (magic link) or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity on your account. Pick a username that follows our rules. Tell us at support@rideaustudio.ca if you think someone has used your account without permission. You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete account.

Your content and our license

You own what you create. That includes your prompts and the apps built from them, subject to the points below.

When you publish an app, or share it by link, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, run, copy and distribute it as needed to operate Makewell. You also allow other users to play and remix a public app, and to share and open an unlisted app by link. This license lasts while the content is on Makewell, plus a reasonable time to remove it from backups and caches. Remixes made by others before you remove an app may remain.

You promise that you have the right to publish what you publish.

Rules for published apps

Do not publish, and do not use Makewell to build, apps that contain or promote:

• sexual content or nudity
• hate or discrimination against people or groups
• harassment, bullying or threats
• impersonation of real people, or content that makes it look like a real person said or did something
• copyrighted characters, brands, logos or other material you do not have the right to use
• self-harm or suicide content, or content that encourages dangerous behavior
• malware, phishing, scams, or anything meant to trick users or collect their information
• illegal activity

Do not try to break out of the app sandbox, attack our systems or other users, scrape our service, or get around limits or content checks.

Moderation and removal

We use automated tools, including AI, and human review to check prompts and apps. We may refuse a build, hide or remove an app, or limit an account at any time if we think these terms are broken or an app could cause harm. We may, but are not obliged to, tell you why.

Reporting and blocking

Every public app has a report option. Use it if you see an app that breaks these rules. You can also block a creator to stop seeing their apps. We review reports and act on them as quickly as we reasonably can. You can also email support@rideaustudio.ca.

AI-generated content

Makewell uses AI to build apps from your prompts. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, unsafe or similar to existing work. We do not promise that a generated app will work, be accurate or be free of errors. You are responsible for checking what the AI produces and for what you publish. Do not rely on a Makewell app for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.

Subscriptions, free trial and cancellation

Makewell has a free tier and an optional Pro subscription:

• Free tier: 5 AI builds per day. You can watch rewarded video ads for 3 extra builds each time, up to 3 times per day. Banner ads appear on Home and Gallery.
• Makewell Pro monthly: $9.99 per month.
• Makewell Pro annual: $59.99 per year, with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.

Prices may vary by region and can change. The price shown in the App Store at purchase is the price you pay.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you do not cancel before a free trial ends, you will be charged for the annual plan. You manage or cancel in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your Makewell account does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Ads

The free tier shows ads provided by Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the ads or for the advertisers. Your ad choices are described in the Privacy Policy.

Termination

You can stop using Makewell at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, put others at risk, or if we need to for legal reasons. When an account ends, the rules in our Privacy Policy apply to your data. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as the disclaimers and limits of liability, will continue.

Disclaimers

Makewell is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not make any promises that Makewell will be uninterrupted, error free, or suitable for your needs. Apps made by other users are their creators' responsibility, and we do not endorse them. Play and remix them at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of Makewell. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 50 US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law remain unaffected.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we make an important change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Makewell after a change means you accept the updated terms.
